When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?
- What do we learn about God?
- What do we learn about people
- How should we respond?
- Who should we tell?
Psalm 56 speaks of having courage no matter what the circumstances. I am impressed with courage people have working in South Asia at all different ages.
We know a lady in her 80s on a trip training teachers of disabled children and just shining the light of Jesus everywhere she goes.
We know of a man in his 70s who is visiting several places teaching on the Holy Spirit and laying hands on people for anointing and healing all over India.
We know of teenagers reaching their friends in a government housing project in a crowded part of Delhi with no fear..
They are boldly telling stories about Jesus and starting new discovery groups with seekers.
They are writing new worship songs and teaching their friends how to worship as well as how to play the guitar and keyboard.
So let’s pray for people who are giving their all no matter what their age is right now.
No matter who is watching them.
No matter what skepticism is around them.
I am recovering from a broken leg and ankle right now and can’t go but I just keep praying and encouraging others to pray.
What an awesome God we serve. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you O God! Thanks for walking with me through every situation.
Hope you have an awesome Resurrection weekend and may He fill you all with courage to keep going and sharing the Good News. Finding persons of peace, starting new discovery groups, and planting seeds wherever you go.
Will pray for a quick healing.
