DO OUR WORDS MATCH OUR WALK?

Colossians 4:2 In-Context
2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.

  1. What is God saying to you through this passage?
  2. What do we learn about God?
  3. What do we learn about people?
  4. What does God want you to do?

The last couple weeks we have been evaluating what we have been doing while we live here in Chicago. What kind of impact are we having where we live?

Does our life here reflect what we believe?

We want to have current stories of impacting people’s lives right here where we live.

It’s been a big adjustment to live in the city of Chicago. The noise of the city is kind of new to us. We have always lived in suburbs even in India.

We love the diversity and really want to have an impact on Indians here in Chicago.

We love being able to go and eat Indian food in several places nearby.

We keep asking God what He wants us to do here.

So I do challenge you to get to know your neighbors and keep asking God who is open and who he wants you to get to know better.

Let’s go meet open people this summer!

Is there anyone we can join who is already doing something in the neighborhood ?
