I want to highly recommend watching the five seasons of The Chosen.

It’s available on Amazon Prime and even You Tube. My husband and I just rewatched all four seasons and it has been so meaningful. Season Five is coming out on Amazon Prime on June 15 and we intend to watch that season also.

I love the way you can get to know the characters who are all mentioned in the New Testament.

They are so believable and real. Each disciple has a different personality as well as even some of the soldiers and others that are mentioned in the New Testament. It’s such a wholesome thing to watch and to keep our minds focused on things that really matter, that are eternal.

Many scriptures are referenced and prayers are prayed that renew a sense of awe about the things that Jesus said and did in his lifetime here on earth.

It was so interesting the way they kept referring back to the Sermon on the Mount and how it applied to their lives throughout the seasons.

“Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God”, Matthew 5:9.

It was fascinating to see Gaius come to know Jesus in the story as a Roman centurion.

Matthew 5:1-12 lists the beatitudes but in the Chosen series you can see how the life situations pertained to each of these like “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

I urge you to give it a try if you have not already experienced the Chosen.

It is well worth your time.
