November 8, 2019 in Delhi:

Meet Bhumika, 10 year old follower of Jesus. I live with her family while in India. She loves Jesus and has day and night encounters with him. She met Jesus through me, her family is Hindu.

The other day she came into my room praying in tongues, a heavenly language. The following day Nihal, the elder adult son in our home appeared to be having a heart attack. I told Bhumika to join me in praying for her uncle. After 10 minutes Nihal was much improved. Bhumika told her family that during prayer she saw Jesus walk in and place his hand on Nihal and a bright fiery light came from Jesus’ hand…Nihal said “I felt it!”

Nihal went to the doctor and was diagnosed with high blood pressure and prescribed medication. Nihal’s father, who witnessed the event, said if we hadn’t prayed he knows his son would be dead. I reminded the family it is the presence of Jesus who heals.

“Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’”

November 23, 2019:

Meet Sapna, owner of my Indian grandchildren’s school.

In May, at the prompting of Holy Spirit, I went to the children’s school to inquire about getting two weeks of summer camp for free. On that day I met the owners son who told me his mother was sick in bed for the past 3 months so he was acting as principal in her absence. He told me to return the following day and he would tell me if free summer camp would be possible. Before I left I prayed for his mother.

I returned the following day and much to my surprise (and the entire school) his mother came to work. We had tea and I prayed for her. She granted free summer camp to the children.

Earlier this month I made a surprise visit to Sapna to see how she was doing. During this visit she shared that her husband had left her 4 years ago and she was still devastated and wanted him to return. I prayed over her, she started crying and said she got goosebumps. I told her that often happens when the spirit of God comes upon us.

Today at Sapna’s request I visited her school. She said since I prayed for her two weeks ago she feels joyous and peaceful and looks forward to each day. Sapna also said she’s been to many therapists over the years due to her depression, but none of them were able to help her. She credited her improved mental health to my prayer, but I shifted the focus to God being the one who gave me words to pray. Sapna then requested I help the children at her school. She told that the majority come from difficult homes where alcoholism and abuse is the norm. She said there are many fights at school and she doesn’t know how to help with this anger problem.

I offered to teach group assembly “Creation to Christ” stories, to visit individual classrooms for more personal relationship building and to pray with the children. I told Sapna that just as Jesus changed her heart we could trust his Spirit to bring joy, peace and hope to these kids. She wholeheartedly agreed and I will start next week. Please be praying for the love of God to shift the fear and anger from these children’s hearts and replace it with the peace of God that passes all understanding.

Before I departed today Sapna said “I want for my life to follow Jesus”. I prayed with her about that. I told her I would bring her a bible and start discipling her❣️

Let’s pray together about God sending you out to the neighborhood to lay hands on the sick and pray! Let’s see what God can do! We are His instruments!

“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. – Psalm 107:19-20
