26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[b] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[c] Acts 17:26-28 niv
So here we are on Good Friday at home. Let’s look at this passage together and consider where Jesus is right now! How close is he to us?
First let’s be thankful – after all, “we are his offspring.”
What can we be thankful for today? Trees blooming nearby, grandkids, the ability to meet with friends in South Asia online and friends feeding the poor while we are at home in the USA.

From this passage, what do we learn about God?
He is closer than we think! He wants everyone to seek Him. He made all the nations!
What do we learn about people?
We can reach out for Him and find Him!
How should we respond to this passage today?
We should seek Him today, reach out for Him and find Him!
Who can we share this with this week?
Neighbors, friends, family – let Him put some names into your mind that you can tell!
So thankful for Good Friday – got to share about Jesus dying on the cross for us with our grandkids today in the car. Making disciples that will make disciples as they grow.
Please pray for South Asia as they are having a lockdown that is enforced by police and many cannot leave their homes. Government is bringing food to them especially if they are living in a hot spot for the COVID 19 virus. Their countries are not allowing anyone to report on the virus except the government. Many day laborers need food. Thanks for your prayers.
We have so much to be thankful for! God is our provider and we trust in Him.
Psalm 95 this morning for you all!
Please let us know how we can be praying for you during this time!
