LET’S BE SATISFIED IN THE LORD

A friend of mine in Sri Lanka has been doing daily devotionals for her friends and I just thought I should share some with you all. This is actually a summary of the last week for you to enjoy!

John 4:14
Let us be content with the great salvation we have received

Psalm 145: 15
Let us be content with His blessings

The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food  at the proper time. You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

How can we truly be satisfied in the Lord? Here the psalmist makes a remarkable statement.

That is, it is very clear here that He does not abandon anyone who waits on Him and puts His hope in Him, and He is always faithful with us to hear our prayers and satisfy us with the right thing at the right time.

It goes on to say that He has always kept His blessing and fruitful life ready for us.

Therefore, the Word of God clearly tells us that the Almighty God, who never looks down on Him, fulfills our desires in every moment to satisfy us with the very best things.

Therefore, let us always be in the Lord God, who hears our prayers and sees our desires, so that we may live a life in our heavenly father.

Isaiah 44: 3
He will satisfy us as well as our children and future generations.

Psalm 17: 5
Let us be content with righteousness in God.

As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face;when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness.

Here it is beautifully said that we are satisfied when we see the image of God. That is, we can truly be content, or we can experience heavenly joy in the midst of the challenges we face in life.

Therefore, according to Genesis 1:26 He created us in His image, so that all the attributes of His which were conceived in him, might abound in us.
In order to be content in a deep spiritual relationship with God

God’s Word today clearly shows us that only through this can we experience true satisfaction and joy in this life.

Psalm 65: 4
Let us be content to live in Him forever

Psalm 65:4

Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.

The Word of God guides us to live a contented life in the Lord today as well as in the past days in this week.

That is to say, it is preciously said here that those who live close to the Lord, chosen by God, are the ones who are truly blessed.

The Word of God tells us that He will bless all who live with Him in His house with good things, and that He has called us all to be satisfied forever with the good things of the Lord God.

Looking back at all of the above, the most significant thing we can understand is that only the Lord God has the ability to satisfy us in all areas of our lives.

And it is very important to say here that Almighty God, who sees all the needs and desires of our lives when we are sincere and righteous in Him, satisfies us all in Him …

God satisfies us physically

God satisfies us spiritually

God satisfies us mentally

Further, Matthew 5: 6 says that we can be content with God alone to live a truly satisfying life.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Maththew 5:6

God bless you all
Have a blessed day
