In Movements around the world, the priesthood of all believers is emphasized and encouraged. Every follower of Jesus has gifts that he or she is expected to use to strengthen others and extend the impact of God’s Kingdom here on earth.
• Pray that disciples of Jesus in unreached places will obey the command given in Mt 28:18-20. The task to make disciples is not just for a select few.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
• Pray that disciples of Jesus in unreached places would boldly exercise the gifts God has given them (Eph 4:11-12).
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
• Pray for the hundreds of thousands of Paul-Timothy relationships that exist right now in unreached places, among both men and women. Pray that Timothys would quickly become Pauls, and Pauls would quickly become Barnabases. (2 Cor 12:19-20; John 17:20-24).
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Let us encourage one another that anybody can pray for healing, share a story about Jesus, and make disciples! We have been doing this in India and Sri Lanka. We are thrilled with the people we know that were so young when we met them and now are starting churches all over the place. God is able to grow the Church through ordinary people.
In the photo above, we were having a leaders retreat with some Sri Lankan families, and some of the kids wanted to pray when we were taking turns praying for each other. They just naturally joined in the prayer time and it was so sweet. I’m sure it also made God smile.
Love it!
