Habits of a disciple maker replicated

Right now Rick and I are taking a class online with New Generations replicating the habits of a disciple maker. It is so practical and we have very relevant homework that will help us reach our community which right now is our condo building in Chicago.

After studying Deuteronomy 6:4-9 this was our assignment:

Ask 3 people if you could pray for them. Questions you could use:

  • Is there anything I could pray for you about?
  • If God could do something amazing in your life, something like a miracle, what would it be? Can I pray that he would do that for you?
  • If God were to visit you in a dream and communicate with you that he wanted to give you the deepest desire of your heart, what would you ask him for?

This week we are supposed to do a study on Luke 10:1-9: and then:
Choose 5 questions and Ask a question a day!
Prayerwork: Go prayer walking with someone else. While out, ask 3 people “what do you think are the greatest needs in our neighborhood/community?”

Try it and see what you think? We are challenged and encouraged!

Please pray for us that we will do the homework and have more conversations with our neighbors asking them questions that will start more meaningful conversations.

Help us all to become disciples that live out loud what we believe without fear and anxiety.

God bless you all!

Another question I want to ask people on my prayer walks is:

What is something you are hoping for that I could pray for you about?
