I am so moved by this woman’s courage.
She spoke at her husband’s memorial service to over 60,000 people in a stadium in Arizona. She forgave the man who shot her husband. She said we can forgive the unthinkable because Jesus has forgiven us over and over again Being a follower of Christ is not easy.
He calls us to deny ourselves pick up our cross and follow Him
Isaiah said, “Here I am, send me”.
She said her husband wanted to save people just like the one who killed her husband.
Like Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”
She encouraged us to choose prayer, courage, beauty, adventure, family, a life of faith and most importantly Christ.
This is also my prayer today and I do pray for many to find Jesus as we consider this tragic event that happened on September 10th.
