Raj is just a normal guy attending the Karuna Vineyard in Delhi. He has been gripped by God’s heart for people … especially those who don’t know Jesus.

One day Raj was walking through a park and saw a teenage boy crying. He walked up to him and asked him what was the matter? The boy said he had a friend that had run away from home and when he came back, he didn’t have his memory and was confused. His parents didn’t know what to do, and locked him in his room.

Raj asked if they could go and see if they could pray for him. They went and prayed for him in Jesus’ name. It was a Hindu family and they were desperate. After just a few minutes, the boy was in his right mind! The family asked Raj to stay for tea and Raj told them a story about Jesus healing a boy. Then he asked if he could come back again and tell them another story.

That’s how Raj started a discovery group with a family who wanted to know more about Jesus.

This is a simple path of praying for someone, and then offering to disciple them using the Creation to Christ Discovery Bible Study.

1 Timothy 2:3-6:

“God our Savior …wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.”

What does it look like to be a disciple who is committed to making disciples?

A disciple who is committed to making disciples is passionate about praying for the Harvest (Matthew 9:38)

A disciple who is committed to making disciples is passionate about planting lots of Gospel seeds (Matthew 13)

Make a list of five unsaved people that you will pray for each day of the week. One for each day …

Just give spiritual snacks – tell one story about Jesus and then ask if you can come back again to tell another story …

Take it slow and make friendships as you go and ask them to invite their friends to hear a story about Jesus –
