1 Praise the Lord,my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord,my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
Psalm 103:1-6 niv
So first let’s start with gratitude for what God has done for us in 2020.
Then let’s encourage one another with hope!
Romans 15:13 niv
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit
We’ve been learning so much about prayer
Let’s make it a priority this year to pray at least three times a day and make a schedule to pray for different people God lays on our hearts
Ephesians 3 and Colossians 1 are great prayers to pray for the people we love
Anaheim vineyard had a New Years Eve service called Prayers of the Saints on You Tube
I like to listen to that kind of stuff as I do prayer walks in my neighborhood
Leave time to listen for God to speak to you!
What is He saying to you today?
He is saying that gratitude and generosity are important weapons for us to fight with at this time.
