In movements, maintaining focus on the task is essential. Jesus told us the harvest is ready, but the labourers are few (Lk 10). He then instructed us to pray for more than enough laborers to be occupied with the harvest.
• Ask God to forgive us, His Body, for getting distracted from the harvest. We spend most of our time, energy and money where the harvest is already being harvested. Meanwhile, Luke 10:1-3 remains true for 42.5% of the people groups of the world (joshuaproject.net).

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. 3 Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.(Luke 10:1-3 NIV)

• Ask God to give His children (those who live in reached places, and those trying to work among the unreached), boldness and courage to sow seed broadly, not stingily (Mt 13:3-9).

3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

• Ask God to raise up many sheep in unreached places who will follow the example set in Mk 5:19.

19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What an exciting time to live! We want to be part of what God is doing in the world!

Billions of people don’t yet know Jesus! The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

We are privileged to know some of the workers in South Asia! Let’s pray for them to be fruitful in His Kingdom.

So proud of Sachin & Nitish in North Delhi who have just been released as pastors in Wazipur – their community in a city of 20 million people! They are so talented writing songs and sharing with their friends – let’s pray for them today! God has called them for His purpose. They are making disciple makers! Many blessings to them and many others doing His stuff even in the midst of big trials in these tough times. These were just little boys new to Delhi living in poor conditions and coming to know Jesus in 2007 as Mukesh taught the little children!
