11. Disciple making movements often emerge in places where following Christ is costly and may lead to suffering or even death. Followers of Christ are told that in the world we will have tribulation, but Jesus has overcome the world. Those who bear no fruit are pruned; and those who bear fruit are pruned more so that they may
    be more fruitful for God’s glory.
    • Pray for Jesus’ words in Luke 22:28-30 to ring loudly in the hearts of all suffering persecution today.You are those who have stood by me in my trials. 29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, 30 so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
    • Pray for God’s children to endure and have courage to persevere through trials (Heb 12:1-3).Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
    • Pray James 1 for all who are currently suffering today for no other reason than the sake of the Name.Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Persecution is on the rise in so many places and we just want to encourage you to pray as you look at the map above and the areas that God highlights to you.
