2. In every known Movement around the world, the Bible is the unquestioned authority and guiding force for the disciples concerning policy, everyday life and doctrine. This is true even in non-literate cultures where the Bible is received and shared through oral storytelling.
   • Pray that all who labour in the harvest will base their lives on Jesus and His Word, being obedient doers, not forgetful hearers or merely hearers only (James 1:19-25).

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
• Pray for the Word of God to reach every people group in their own heart language and for It to spread rapidly and be honored among all because the Word all by Itself is able to teach people what they need to know (2 Tim 2:16-17).

16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
• Pray for the labourers and disciples living and working among the least-reached peoples to have their ears and hearts open to the Lord’s Word so that when He shows them things to change, stop doing or start doing, they will obey (Heb 4:12-13).

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

SO WE ARE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO TAKE THESE GUIDELINES AS THEY BEGIN HOUSE GROUPS LIKE SIMPLE CHURCHES USING THE DISCOVERY MODEL.

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE RESULTS OF PEOPLE GOING ON PRAYER WALKS TO FIND PEOPLE OF PEACE, GO TO THEIR HOMES AND REACH WHOLE HOUSEHOLDS EVEN IN REMOTE VILLAGES IN INDIA AND SRI LANKA.

LET’S PRAY TOGETHER AS PEOPLE GO OUT IN TWOS TO REACH THE LOST NEAR AND FAR.

EVEN HERE IN CHICAGO WE HAVE FOUND PEOPLE OPEN TO HEARING STORIES OF JESUS AND HEARING GOD’S VOICE TO SEE WHAT HE IS SAYING TO THEM THROUGH THE STORY.
