Matthew 9:37-38 “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
I want to share with you a wonderful phenomenal happening right now in South Asia. Pastors are helping pastors reach the lost! It’s so wonderful to see!
In Sri Lanka, many pastors of all denominations wake up at 5am to join a zoom prayer meeting to pray together for their country and for each other. They are stirring up God’s heart in one another.
In India, pastors are sharing with other pastors how to reach the lost and increase their heart for the lost in unreached villages. This week we have heard several stories of pastors traveling out of town to meet with leaders in order to help them reach the lost!
One pastor has a heart for Gujarat and is taking a bus into different villages to meet with leaders and train them in making disciple makers. He lives in Ahmedabad.
Another pastor went six hours on a train in order to train village leaders in disciple making habits from Delhi to outside Dehradun.
Another pastor is reaching pastors in farming villages in North India and sharing with them how to start discovery groups and even reach people who can’t read by taking them audio bible story sets. He lives outside Varanasi.
Another pastor lives near Darjeeling and is traveling to other villages and gathering pastors together to train them in making disciple makers.
God is moving throughout South Asia and we get to be part of it! We are on zoom calls coaching these pastors with a heart for other pastors as well as prayer meetings to pray for them to be empowered by the Holy Spirit!
We are talking about simple ordinary people going out and sharing what they know with other leaders in order that more people can hear the good news and respond.
So let’s pray for them and for God to move even more to the unreached villages in South Asia.
What is God asking you to do?
Is there someone you can share with in order to help them succeed? What do you know that you can share with others who may not have the resources you have?
Our prayers are with you all!
